A telescopic boom lift, also known as a straight boom lift or cherry picker, is an aerial work platform with a single or multi-segment extendable arm that provides straight-line reach, both vertically and horizontally. Unlike articulated boom lifts, which have jointed arms for navigating obstacles, telescopic boom lifts extend directly, offering superior horizontal reach (up to 12.5 m/41.0 ft in the TRAB21ARE) and height (up to 22.55 m/74.0 ft).
